Taking the LEAP Session 1

Starting a business without any guidance can be daunting. Why leap without having the tools to soar? Have an idea for a product or service but don’t know where to start? Here is your first step! Come learn how to turn your precious idea into an operational business from experts! In this FREE four-week long cohort, participants will learn about different aspects of starting a business, including identifying potential markets, writing a business plan, running the finances of a business and marketing a business. You’ll work with mentors and peers in fun breakout activities designed to help strengthen your business ideas and prepare you for success!

This 4 week course is geared towards those who haven't yet launched their business, or may just be in the very early stages of planning their business. Participants must attend each session.

Session 1: The Voice of Your Customer: 10/19

Session 2: A Plan for Success: 10/26

Session 3: Cash is King: 11/2

Session 4: Pitch Night! Marketing Your New Business and Celebrating the Launch: 11/9

Each class will be from 6-8 pm!

This workshop will be in person.

When you register for Week 1, we will register you for the following weeks. Therefor, registration for the following weeks is not required. After registration, you will be sent a survey application via email. After registering you MUST fill out the survey to be considered for this program. Space is limited!
