Day 1 — Get Certified: Building Your Business Foundation Day 1 focuses on positioning your business for credibility and opportunity through certifications and compliance readiness. Participants will gain a clear understanding of federal, state, and local certification programs and how they create access to contracting and growth opportunities. This hands-on session walks business owners through eligibility requirements, required documentation, SAM registration essentials, and the certification process for programs such as WOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, and Veteran certifications. By the end of the day, participants will be certification-ready with practical next steps, improved documentation, and a stronger business foundation.
