ServSafe Food Protection and Manager Training and Exam

This training is highly recommended for managers interested in preparing for the ServSafe Manager Exam. Louisiana requires a person in charge of a food establishment to have a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on the premises at all times and demonstrate knowledge of food safety as outlined in FDA food code. Taking an approved Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) Training Course and passing an exam is how to meet this requirement. This also meets the prerequisite requirement for "gold seal" LDH Food Safety Manager Certificate. The instructors will cover the full content of the ServSafe Manager Book 7th Ed prior to giving the exam. All other food establishment staff are welcome to attend the training and take the exam.
