“The Pivot” is a crisis solution workshop session in the VIRTUAL LSBDC Business Success Series. This Workshop offers practical advice on how to successfully re-start your business and create opportunities during this time of crisis. Topics include the stages of crisis, clarifying business directions, business development and emerging customer channels, suggestions for stabilizing your business model, problem solving and decision-making strategies and practical guidance for business leaders.

A question and answer period will be available for the attendees to ask specific questions related to their businesses and the session topic.

Speaker(s): Dr. Marcia Hardy Dr. Marcia McLure Hardy is a business consultant with the Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC). She has conducted business as a business owner for over 20 years, is as an entrepreneur, and served as the co-founder and CEO of a consultingcompany providing leadership, training and consulting expertise and software solutions. Dr. Hardy has provided strategic direction, practical implementation and business management solutions for a variety of clients including small and large employers. Currently, Dr. Hardy is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Northwestern State University of Louisiana where she teaches coursework in Organization and Management, Leadership, Motivation and Power, Strategic Management & Policies, and Advanced Management. Roman Starns Mr. Roman Starns is a Senior Business Consultant with the Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC). He is an entrepreneur and a small business owner.
