Wed, Apr 29 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Topic: Financing and Capital

In this joint presentation by retired CEO/CPA, Chuck Mills, and recovering corporate attorney turned exited coworking space owner and SBDC Business Consultant, Michelle Y. Talbert, attendees will engage both hemispheres of their business brains.

Chuck will provide the nuts and bolts of ensuring that your business finances are attractive to lenders (and other stakeholders).

Participants will gain a clear understanding of funding options, become familiar with the documentation necessary to secure funding, and enhance financial management practices in order to remain "funding ready."

Michelle will provide your business playbook for creating and nurturing the key relationships that all business owners need to develop for their success. Think: Dig your wells before you're thirsty, strategies that you'll learn to implement.

Wherever you are along your business journey, there will be takeaways that can be implemented TODAY, such as:

~ Understanding different funding sources (banks, credit unions, investors) and their requirements at a high level

~ Understanding the essential financial documents and projections needed to get your business funding ready

~ Learning key financial management practices to implement in order to stay ready for prospective funding opportunities

~ Creating a relationship with a banker that ensures you and your business stay top of mind for beneficial opportunities to start and grow

By the end of this workshop, you will have the tools necessary to evaluate and create the best banker relationship for achieving your business goals. Bring your questions! There will be Q&A Time too!
