This in-person class is organized in partnership with the Algiers Economic Development Foundation (AEDF). The class is for new entrepreneurs and existing businesses. A business plan is much more than a piece of paper. It is your roadmap to success. The plan forces you to consider your entire business at once, and therefore maintain consistency in planning and execution of your business model. A comprehensive, focused, well written business plan enables you to control your business and its potential for success. The class will cover the following topics: • Steps you should take before developing your business plan • Why you should have a business plan • How to go about developing a business plan • Key elements of your business plan • Market research - where to get the data? • How to develop your Financial Projections • How to ensure your projections are as realistic as possible Registrants will receive a narrative business plan template, along with a Financial Projection tool.
