All businesses or organizations wishing to do business with the federal government are required to register in the S.A.M. and maintain an active registration. Even some state and local government agencies require this important designation. It is very important that the information entered in S.A.M. is accurate, detailed, current, and complete. In order to finish the registration process, you will need the following information:

  • DUNS Number
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)/Tax Identification Number (TIN) from IRS
  • Business checking account
  • Bank routing number
  • Business checking account number
  • Average Number of employees last twelve months
  • Average gross revenues/sales/receipts
