Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation (LCEF) with partners Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, Louisiana Small Business Development Center, Louisiana Department of Economic Development invite you to sharpen your business skills through the first Creating Profits with Passion Boot Camp! Develop Strategies and learn best practices for building a successful Cultural Business. This 12-hour (four 3 hour sessions) boot camp is specifically designed for small businesses in the Creative Industries. All businesses MUST be SEBD certified to participate. This simple online process can be completed at ledsmallbiz.com. Information on SEBD eligibility, how to get started, and next steps are also available there. Free SEBD Certification Workshops are also available on November 3rd and November 10th. Visit www.lsbdc.org event page for registration. Sessions take place on, November 29th, and December 1st, 6th and 8th. All four sessions include lunches. Remember to bring a laptop! Session 1 – How do you make money? • Evaluating your business model – what are you selling? • Determining your break-even – how much do you need to sell to cover costs • How much profit and take home pay do you want?
