Discover the Power of QuickBooks - Alexandria
Note: In the event this class is filled, the NSU August 8 QuickBooks Seminar is available. Simply click on that training event and register. QuickBooks installed computers are provided for each seminar registrant to use during this one-day training, courtesy of Northwestern State University. This comprehensive QuickBooks training seminar is offered to residents of northwest and central Louisiana as a community service by Knight Masden, a professional accounting corporation in Alexandria, LA. The low cost registration fee is $125 per attendee and through the generosity of Knight Masden, all proceeds will go to the SBDC, a government agency, to help fund their ongoing training programs. This one-day training normally costs $299 but the SBDC is offering it at the low cost of $125 including lunch. Certified Public Accountants and Certified ProAdvisor Instructors, Dona Manuel and Stephanie Lemoine will provide this QuickBooks training in an easy-to-understand format with registrants free to ask questions as needed. Registrants will learn essential techniques to master the QuickBooks programs and also learn of options to tailor the QB program to their specific business. The seminar schedule is as follows: 8:30-9:00 a.m. registration; Session I, 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, 12:00-12:30 p.m. lunch provided; Session II 12:30-3:00 p.m. Currently the SBDC can only accept cash or checks payable upon admission. Make checks payable to LSBDC-NSU. Pre-registration is encouraged as seating is limited. Walk-ins will only be accepted on a space available basis.
