Topic: Start-up Assistance

Starting a business without any guidance can be daunting. Why leap without having the tools to soar? Have an idea for a product or service, but don't know where to start? Here is your first step!

Taking the Leap is an interactive 4-week cohort-based class.

Each class is 2 hours long. The overall theme of the curriculum is self-empowerment and accountability of each individual. The participants have activities that help them to determine their business model with the objective of forming viable businesses within the 4 week timeframe. Often, in addition to homework activities, classroom activities are supplemented by one-on-one SBDC counseling to address individual learning needs.

Space is extremely limited and we will only be able to host about 20 people.

What you'll learn:

  • identifying potential markets
  • learn your customers needs
  • create a business plan
  • understand business finances
  • market your products and services

The webinar schedule is as follows:

Week 1 - The Voice of Your Customer

Week 2 - A Plan for Success
