This event is for existing Businesses desiring to improve their understanding of financial management. The following topics will be presented: 1) Quickbooks for Managers (Reports) The advanced features of QuickBooks will be covered including: customizing forms, creating users and passwords, learn how to design and print monthly reports and generate a company SnapShot to quickly review your businesses operational status. 2) Financial Statement Analysis (Managing the Money) Here you will learn to understand financial statements and what the numbers show about the financial health of your business. We will also review the questions bankers ask when reviewing your financials, some common errors bookkeepers make, and why "Net Income" is the LEAST important number on your Profit & Loss statement. 3) Managing Legal Obligations (Mismanagement can lead to a financial crisis!) Learn about the Federal, State and Local regulations that impact your company's bottom line. Review HR obligations and requirements and learn about the financial impacts of health and safety regulations on your financial obligations. At the end of the sessions, participants and business owners will have a greater understanding of how to evaluate the financial health of their company. Two Sessions - Friday, 1-25-19 from 9-2:30pm, Saturday, 1-26-19 9-1pm - You must attend both sessions and be SEBD certified (see below).
