Peer to Peer Roundtables The Peer to Peer Roundtable series is designed to discover solutions that create growth opportunities through facilitated group discussions among peer businesses. Strategic growth firms benefit from shared experiences and by tapping into expertise from industry and topic experts and their peer entrepreneurs. The Peer to Peer Roundtable is a series of ten (10) sessions that cover company obstacles to growth in areas such as finance, employee relations, legal compliance, and marketing. Each roundtable will focus on specific business issues of interest to participants according to a pre-participation assessment. The format of the sessions will include scheduled speakers, group discussion and topical assignments that will be discussed at the following roundtables. Each session will be approximately three hours in length and moderators will remain available after each meeting to answer questions and deal with special issues. Businesses that meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply: Annual revenues of a minimum of $200,000, and a maximum of $3 million, Minimum of 3 employees (FTE), plus owner, Minimum of 3 years in business, Participants will agree to attend at least 8 of the 10 sessions and sign a participation agreement, and be a SEBD Certified Business and Owner (to obtain FREE SEBD certification, go to www.ledbiz.com) The Peer to Peer Roundtable is presented with funding provided by Louisiana Economic Development, Small & Emerging Business Development Program (SEBD) in partnership with Louisiana Small Business Development Center and Phelps Dunbar Law Firm.
